TOYOTA AURIS was developed as an innovative compact hatchback model that allows all people to feel the quality of the car the moment they see it, get in or drive it, and was born in October 2006.
Developed as the successor to the Alex and Corolla Runx in the Japanese model line-up and at the same time as the successor to the Corolla hatchback, which enjoyed great popularity in Europe, the TOYOTA AURIS is a hatchback-type compact passenger car sold in Japan, Europe, Oceania and other markets.
Since it was launched under the concept of “a European car born by Toyota,” its visual design has been popular both in Japan and abroad, and we have received many requests for used TOYOTA AURIS in Japan, especially from overseas female users.
A hybrid model was added in April 2016, late to Europe, but hybrid cars are not very popular in Kenya.
The standard “150X” 2WD is very popular.
The name “Auris” is derived from the Latin word “Aurum” meaning “gold” and the English word “Aura” meaning “unique atmosphere”. It is proud of its popularity in the compact car market around the world with its design that has a strong presence.
