[Most popular Japanese used cars in Kenya]TOYOTA PREMIO

The TOYOTA PREMIO was born as a mid-size sedan developed with “high quality and high functionality” as its keywords, and after being sold for about 20 years since its launch in December 2001, production ended in March 2021.

As a very popular Japanese used car overseas, we receive daily inquiries from all over the world, regardless of the year.

At the end of 2001, the first generation Premio began sales as the successor to the Corona, and in 2010, minor changes were made to improve functionality and environmental performance. The quality of both the interior and exterior has been improved and the prestige of the car has been dramatically increased.
In addition, the new generation “Valvematic” engine valve movement mechanism was introduced, and high dynamic performance and excellent environmental performance were combined in the 1.8L model.

Among the minor changes made for 2016, the front grille in particular has been changed, with a new design combining horizontal bars and chrome to give it a stately appearance. The interior, instrument panel and dashboard have also been redesigned. In addition, safety features such as Toyota Safety Sense C, Toyota’s collision avoidance assist package, have been introduced to enhance safety. Toyota Safety Sense C has become a very popular feature in overseas markets.

The Premio uses two types of inline four-cylinder gasoline engines, 1.5L and 1.8L. There is no grade difference by engine, and each has a basic grade of “1.5F” and “1.8X”, a higher grade of “1.5F”L Package” and “1.8X”L Package”, and as the highest grade, “1.5F EX Package” and “1.8X EX Package” as the highest grade.
Overseas, the 1,500 cc Premio is often preferred due to import duties, but the used car market is stable for both the 1,500 cc and 1,800 cc models.
